2004 Shanghai Tourism Festival Float Parade


概述

    上海旅游节以“走进美好与欢乐”为主题,由上海市旅游事业管理委员会、上海市经济委员会、上海市文化广播影视管理局共同主办,是全国著名的节庆活动之一,至今已举办了14届。
    在上海市政府的支持下,上海旅游节已经深受广大市民和国内外游客的关注,同时其影响力也已辐射到了长江三角洲地区,特别是2003年上海旅游节,上海和长江三角洲地区旅游城市的政府和旅委相关领导应邀出席了开幕式,并给予了高度评价。
    每年的9月中旬—10月上旬,上海旅游节都将在这座城市激情上演。气势恢宏的花车大巡游、绚丽夺目的音乐烟花、盛大的旅游纪念品博览会和以观光、休闲、游园、娱乐、会展、美食、购物为主题的百余项特色都市旅游产品将使上海成为国内外旅游者的天堂。

花车巡游

    上海旅游节花车巡游暨评比大奖赛从其广泛的影响力,极强的参与性早已成为历届旅游节的一大亮点和群众参与性最强的品牌项目之一,在取得了良好的社会效益的同时也为参加巡游的赞助商带来了极大的广告宣传效应。


A Brief Account

    Shanghai Tourism Festival, with the theme of"Walking into Happiness and Joy", was jointly sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administrative Commission, Shanghai Municipal Economic Administrative Commission and Shanghai Municipal Culture, Broadcasting, Film and TV Administrative Bureau. lt is one of the popular festivals in the country. The event has taken place for the l4th time up to now.

    With the support by Shanghai Municipal Government and after many years of sponsorship, Shanghai Tourism Festival has received much attention from Shanghai citizens and tourists from home and abroad. In the meantime, its influence has spread to the areas in the Yangtse Delta, especially during the 2003 Tourism Festival the leaders from Shanghai Municipality and governments of tourist cities in the Yangtse Delta areas Were invited to attend the opening ceremony and gave their high comments.

    Every year from mid-Sep. to early Oct.,Shanghai Tourism Festival is held in the city of Shanghai. The magnificent parade of floats, the gorgeous musical fireworks,the exposition of tourist souvenirs, handreds of tourist products with unique metropolitan feature, as sightseeing, leisurely enjoyment,garden touring, recreation, conference and exhibition, food and delicacies,and shopping will turn Shanghai into a paradise for domestic and oversea tourists. 

 

Float Parade

    The float Parade and its prize-awarding competition during Shanghai Tourism Festival, with its wide influence and participatory nature has become a bright spot and a brand of participatory nature by the public in the successive festivals. The float Parade has not only produced social benefit but also provided, at the same time, for the float supporters great advertising and publicizing effect.

    2003年上海旅游节花车巡游以其广泛的影响力,极强的参与性成为本届旅游节的一大亮点,取得了良好的社会效益。在十余天的巡游活动期间,据不完全统计:

    ◆花车队伍共经过上海市15个区县,停留表演11次。
    ◆行驶总里程1200余公里
    ◆观看花车的市民和旅游者近200万人次
    ◆通过电视直播及新闻收看到花车巡游盛况的人数近2亿
    ◆国内外各类媒体报道数百篇

花车评比大奖赛

    花车评比大奖赛设立金奖、银奖、铜奖,由美国洛杉矶玫瑰花节主席、美国新奥尔良狂欢节策划者和国内专家组成的专家评委组评选确定6辆花车。
    金奖 “扬帆远行谱金曲” 锦江国际(集团)有限公司
    银奖 “都市古镇” 闵行区七宝镇人民政府
        “冰雪大世界” 上海银七星室内滑雪场有限公司
    铜奖 “缤纷狮城” 新加坡旅游局
         “梦幻水乡天目湖” 江苏省溧阳天目湖旅游度假区
         “东方绿舟” 上海市青少年校外活动营地——东方绿舟

花车冠名

    历届花车评比大奖赛都吸引了众多企业冠名。上海国旅、上海巴士集团、上海移动通信公司分别于2001年、2002年和2003年获得了冠名权,为企业获得了良好的社会效益。

市场推广品牌效应

    本次活动在活动开始前1月,陆续通过平面媒体、网络媒体和电视新闻报道的方式将竞猜方式传播给目标受众。
    ●平面媒体:新民晚报、每周广播电视报、旅游时报
    ●网络媒体:旅游节网站及其它网站的链接
    ●电视媒体:上海电视台新闻综合频道和东方卫视面向全国范围的现场直播,东方电视台文艺频道专题节目追踪报道。
    ●广播媒体:东方广播电台新闻综合频率“旅游金线”节目追踪报道。
     此外,有关花车巡游及评选活动的新闻通过电视、报纸、杂志以及网络等多种媒体组合播报同时,参与此次活动的企业和赞助厂商的形象刊登在旅游节统一发送的宣传手册上。
    ●花车队伍将巡游上海市15个区县,停留表演11次,沿途观看花车的市民和旅游者近200万人次。

展望

    2004年的花车巡游为了再次提升花车巡游的可看性与群众参与性,将首次引进国际先进的设计理念与引入多个国际彩车团队共同参与。同时,还将在原有的花车巡游及评选活动的基础上,导入全新的参与方式与极赋诱惑力的参与奖项。我们相信广大花车赞助商的广告效应也将随之再次大大的提升。

Reminiscence 2003
    The float parade during the 2003 Shanghai Tourism Festival has become a bright spot for attention for its extensive influence and participatory nature. It has gained good social benefits. Statistics of the parade are shown as follows:

    ◆The floats paraded through 15 districts and counties in Shanghai and stopped 11 times for performance.
    ◆The parade traveled over 1,200 km.
    ◆Around 2 million citizens and tourists watched the parade.
    ◆Around 2 hundred million people watched the parade through life telecast or news broadcast.
    ◆Several hundred reports by domestic and oversea mass media

Prize awarding competition of floats
    Float competition offered gold prizes, silver prizes and copper prizes. An expert appraisal committee formed by the chairman of the Rose Parade in Los Angeles, USA, planner of the New Orleans Carnival in USA and experts in the country appraised and decided 6 floats.
    One gold prize awarded to “Hoisting the Sail and Sailing Afar to
Compose a Golden Melody” by Jinjiang International (Group) Co., Ltd.
    Silver prizes awarded to 1) “An Ancient Town in the Metropolis” by Minhang District Qibao Town People's Government and to 2) “A World of Ice and Snow” by Shanghai Silvery Seven-star Indoor Skating Ground Co., Ltd.
    Copper prizes awarded to 1) “The Colorful City of the Lion”by Singapore Tourism Bureau, to 2) “Tianmu Lake - A Dreamy Countryside on Water”by Jiangzu Province Liyang Tianmu Tourist Holiday Area and to 3)“The Orient Green Boat”by Shanghai Municipal Youngsters Extracurricular Activity Camp - the Orient Green Boat

Entitling with Honor for Float Competitions
    In the past float competitions many enterprises were entitled with honor for the float competitions, such as Shanghai International Travel Service Cup for 2001, Shanghai Bus Group Cup for 2002 and Shanghai Mobile Cup for 2003, producing good social benefits for these enterprises.

Effect of market promotion of the brand
    One month before the festival activity a guess competition will be propagated to the public through level mass media, network mass media and TV news broadcast.
    ●Through level mass media: Xinmin Evening News, Broadcast and TV Weekly and Tourism Times
    ●Through network mass media: Tourism Festival Network Station and other connected network stations
    ●Through TV mass media: Shanghai TV Station Comprehensive News Channel, Oriental Satellite TV life broadcast to the whole country and followed-up special program reports by the Oriental TV Station Arts Channel
    ● Through broadcast mass media: Followed-up reports by &quotTourism Golden Line&quotprogram of the Oriental Broadcasting Station Comprehensive News Frequency Apart from these,together with the organized reports by different mass media on news of the float parade and selection through appraisal by TV. newspapers, magazines and network, the images of enterprises and factories supporting the activity will be published
on the publicity brochures to be distributed.
    ● The float and performance teams will parade through 15 districts and counties in Shanghai and stop 11 times for performances. There will be around 2 million spectators of Shanghai citizens and tourists along the way.

Prospects
    To promote the appreciative and participatory nature by the public of the 2004 float parade internationally advanced designing concept will be imported and more international float teams, be invited. In the meantime, on the basis of the former float parade and selection through appraisal, a completely new participatory form and attractive prizes will be introduced. We believe that the advertising effect for float supporters will correspondingly be upgraded.
